National Championship Preview - Bama vs Clemson

The #1 and #2 teams in the nation face off tonight in the college football playoff final. Initially I thought Bama's 38-0 blowout win over MSU was the more impressive final four win. But Clemson absolutely took it to Baker Mayfield and co. in a game that they were 4 point dogs and had me second guessing myself.

For Bama the key on offense is obviously Heisman winner, workhorse, Derrick Henry. Henry has 359 carries on the year and will get 20+ more tonight. The gameplan for Clemson against this offense and what teams have been trying to do all year is bottle up Henry and make Jake Coker beat you. The issue with that is Coker can ball a bit when he needs to, he was extremely efficient against MSU going 25-30 with 286 yards and 2 TD's. Coker's 25 completions were his high for the season and Henry only had 75 yards. Henry's is by far Bama's best option but if you load the box Coker can beat you with Ridley and his other weapons on the outside.

Clemson's success is based on the incredibly dynamic Deshaun Watson, exactly the type of QB that can give Bama (or anyone for that matter) fits. Watson has 3,699 passing yards on the season and went over a 1,000 yards rushing last week.  He has a bunch of talented wide outs starting with Artavis Scott and spreads the ball around really well. Watson is the type of special player that can take over a game, if he is making plays tonight Bama is in trouble. The RB for Clemson is Wayne Gallman and he has been on fire lately, he put up 150 yards last week and 187 vs UNC.

Bama is always backed heavily in Vegas and that shows again tonight where the line favors them by 7. This game will come down to Bama's D vs Watson, he can not be stopped but if they can force him to make some mistakes they can control the clock and pound it with Henry. I'm putting my trust in Saben and the Bama D to do enough of that tonight to get the win. Adam Griffith starts the rebuilding of kickers everywhere and kicks the game winner tonight.

Prediction Bama 27 Clemson 24

8 Year Old Punishing Dudes

What a run huh, the mini Raiders thought they had him dead in the back field, nope. Dude blows up the DE then proceeds to make the entire other team miss.

$20 says USC or Bama knows exactly who this kid is.

Thomas Tyner Had a Good Weekend

Thomas Tyner is headed to Oregon next year, they don't need any more explosive players but they are about to get one.

Tyner had 644 yards and 10 TD's on Friday night. Yep 644 yards, rookie on Madden with a 99 created player will not even get you those results. Oh, and he also plays defense.

High school is awesome because of games like this. Can't wait to see this kid play for the video game offense at Oregon next year.

Great Punt, Ruined

Great block towards the end of this return.

Brendon Bigelow is Fast

Great run here, double spin move, and the breakaway speed to turn this run into 6.

Week 2/3 Bets Sorry Vegas

Alright were about to take all the money Bane style. No college bets this week as I'm still trying to figure this mess out. I do like UMass teased to +54.5 against Michigan though. Below you will find two things, a ridiculously sick spin move from Rutgers Jawan Jamison to seal the game and a sure fire way to pay your mortgage.

High School INT of the Week

Crazy INT here. Dude is a beast. Also, these kids are fucking huge, they don't make them like that in Vermont, that's for certain.

Back to the picks in the next couple of days. Feeling good though, took the losing parlay and put some money on OSU second half and Georgia moneyline. Ready to back up the brinks this week.

Free Money Vol 1

Little mix bag this week as we are still getting comfortable with the college landscape. This can't go wrong...mainly because rent just came and I'm broke as shit right now.

USC is one of the best two teams in the country right now and they have all the offensive weapons to run up the score here, ask Hawaii.
Pat's gotta win or lose by three against the Titans. The Gronk article in Sports Illustrated is awesome.
Broncos won some games last year with Tebow, now they have a home game with Peyton Manning at the helm and need to lose by 7 or less. I think they win straight up.
Free money.
Your welcome.

Devin Smith OSU - Freak Catch

He never uses his second hand, he got up and the catch was for a touchdown.

Pretty impressive.

College football season is underway. Big games coming up and plenty of betting to do.

Honey Badger, No Longer Employed

Tyrann Mathieu has been dismissed from the LSU football team. This decision was announced today by head coach Les Miles.

Everyone is going to make the "he really does not give a shit joke", but hey if your gonna have a brand you gotta live it. Tyrann Mathieu is living his brand. He probably did something really stupid, rules violation could mean literally anything. He is one of the best players in college football and will eventually find a home, but he might have to sit out a year depending on what he was dismissed for. Westfield State would welcome him with open arms.
